Upper Unionville Golf Club

Last reviewed: September 5, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Upper Unionville Golf Club Markham is listed on CanadaWeddingGuide.com as a Markham wedding venue, but its current business identity could not be verified from the supplied first-party evidence. The previously listed Facebook URL redirects to a Facebook login page and does not provide a confirmed business profile, services, contact details or operating status.

This review-pending profile is intended to prevent outdated information from being presented as fact. The legacy listing mentions wedding-related features, but those statements are not treated as current evidence. Couples should confirm directly with the business, once a working official channel is identified, before relying on any venue, service or booking information.

Verification status

The supplied evidence pack records a website identity mismatch and an identity score of 0.0. The only supplied web result is a Facebook login page whose text does not identify Upper Unionville Golf Club or provide wedding-business information.

Because the current official identity and relevant service context cannot be established, this page remains review_pending. It is not possible to confirm whether the business currently operates, accepts weddings or uses the legacy contact details.

• Current official business identity: not verified
• Current operating status: not verified
• Wedding-service details: not verified

Services and specialization

The existing CWG record classifies Upper Unionville Golf Club under Wedding Banquet Halls and describes it as a golf-club wedding venue. However, that record is legacy content and is not proof of current services.

No current first-party evidence was supplied for ceremonies, receptions, catering, bar service, event coordination, preparation spaces, audio-visual support, outside vendors or package inclusions. Those details should not be assumed from the older listing.

• Listed CWG classification: Wedding Banquet Halls
• Current service menu: requires verification
• Package inclusions: requires verification

Service area and who it may suit

The existing page places the company in Markham, Ontario, but the address in the company record is explicitly unverified. The supplied evidence therefore does not establish a current venue location or service area.

If the business confirms that it is operating as a wedding venue, it may be relevant to couples researching Markham-area options. Until then, couples should treat the Markham association and any assumptions about venue format, travel access or event suitability as unconfirmed.

• Geographic association in the CWG record: Markham
• Current address: not verified
• Suitability for a specific wedding: cannot be assessed from the evidence supplied

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

There are no current, identity-checked first-party features that can be confirmed as strengths. The only confirmed point is that the company has an existing CWG record with a Wedding Banquet Halls classification.

The practical limitation is the lack of a reachable, verified official source. This prevents confirmation of services, location, contact information, pricing, availability, accessibility, policies and current operating status.

• Documented current venue features: none supplied
• Verified business contact channel: none supplied
• Main planning limitation: current information cannot be authenticated

Pricing

Prices are not published in the supplied evidence. No current package rates, minimum spends, deposits, service charges, taxes, bar costs or cancellation terms can be confirmed.

Couples should not rely on the pricing language in the legacy listing, as it contains no verified price sentences and does not establish current availability or package terms.

• Wedding pricing: prices are not published
• Packages and inclusions: not verified
• Deposit and cancellation terms: not verified

Contact and booking

No current telephone number, postal address or booking email was verified in the evidence pack. The legacy phone number and address are explicitly marked unverified and are therefore omitted from this profile.

The listed Facebook URL currently redirects to a login page rather than a confirmed business profile. Couples should obtain a working official contact channel and confirm that it belongs to Upper Unionville Golf Club before sending personal information or requesting a booking.

• Verified phone: not available
• Verified address: not available
• Verified booking channel: not available

What couples should confirm

Before considering this venue, couples should ask for confirmation of the business name, current operating status and exact location. They should also request a current wedding information package from an identifiable official representative.

The following practical details should be confirmed in writing: whether ceremonies and receptions are accepted, available dates, guest capacity, food and beverage arrangements, outside-vendor rules, accessibility, parking, insurance requirements, deposits, taxes, service charges, cancellation terms and all package inclusions.

• Confirm that the contact is an official representative
• Request current wedding packages and a complete fee schedule
• Verify location, capacity, services, policies and availability before signing
