Editorial and Verification Policy

Last reviewed: July 29, 2026.

Editorial goal

Every page should answer the user’s likely planning question with current, attributable information and without invented experience, unsupported praise, or copied promotional language.

Source priority

  1. Current official business websites, contact pages, service pages, public announcements, and official social profiles
  2. Government, regulator, registry, municipal, or venue-owner sources when they are the authority for the fact
  3. Recent established directories or news sources as corroboration, not as the sole basis for a high-risk claim
  4. Corrections submitted by businesses or readers, verified before publication

Business status rules

  • Active: current first-party evidence supports ongoing operation or a working booking route on the review date.
  • Booking availability not independently confirmed: the available evidence is incomplete, old, or insufficient to claim current availability.
  • Closed: supported by an official closure notice, authoritative record, confirmed replacement/rebrand, or strong corroborating evidence. An expired domain, broken website, disconnected number, or old social account alone does not prove closure.

Dates and material changes

“Last reviewed” means the page was checked on that date. It is not a promise that the business will remain unchanged. The date is updated only when a real review occurs. Material changes to status, identity, contact details, services, or factual claims are recorded in the internal update journal.

Writing and search intent

Listings are written in neutral third-person language. They identify verified services, practical contact information, uncertainty, and questions to confirm before booking. Articles should use primary sources for legal, government, health, safety, price, or other time-sensitive claims.

Links, advertising, and conflicts

External links use a nofollow policy. Advertising is separate from verification: payment does not buy an “Active” label, favourable wording, a ranking position, or suppression of accurate information. Sponsored placements should be identifiable as advertising.

Corrections

Readers and business representatives can submit evidence through Corrections and Listing Updates. Submissions are reviewed before publication and may be edited to remove personal data, unverifiable claims, or promotional language.
