Essential Matters Productions

Last reviewed: August 11, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Last reviewed: August 11, 2026. Essential Matters Productions Calgary is an existing Canada Wedding Guide listing currently marked review_pending. The available record associates the name with wedding videography in Calgary, but a current official business identity could not be established.

The website previously attached to this listing is ricoh.ca. That domain now identifies Ricoh Canada, a workplace-technology and printing company, and does not provide evidence connecting it to Essential Matters Productions. As a result, this profile does not present the historical address, phone number, services, package details, or prices as current business information.

Verification status

No current first-party website, portfolio, booking page, or business-controlled contact route was located that matches Essential Matters Productions and provides wedding-service context. The identity threshold for an active listing therefore has not been met.

This is not a closure finding. It means the available evidence is insufficient to verify whether the business is operating, accepting wedding bookings, or using a different name or domain.

• Status: review_pending.
• Official website: not confirmed.
• Current address and telephone number: not confirmed.

Services and specialization

The legacy CWG categorization places this listing under Wedding Videography. That category is retained as historical context for site navigation, not as confirmation of a current offering.

No official current source was found to verify filming style, coverage length, deliverables, editing options, number of videographers, engagement sessions, raw footage, or event types. Couples should not rely on older package descriptions when deciding whether this provider fits their plans.

• Historically categorized as wedding videography.
• No current, company-controlled service menu was verified.
• No current portfolio or production samples were verified.

Service area and who it may suit

Calgary, Alberta remains the historical location cue associated with this record, but no current official source confirms a service area, travel policy, or whether the business serves Calgary weddings today.

If a verified contact route is later supplied by the owner, this page may suit couples seeking a Calgary-area videography enquiry. Until then, it is best used only as a branded reference point rather than as a booking recommendation.

• Current Calgary service area: not confirmed.
• Travel to Banff, Canmore, other Alberta locations, or destination events: not confirmed.
• Availability for a wedding date: not confirmed.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

No company-specific strength can be confirmed from a current first-party source. It would be inappropriate to characterize style, experience, responsiveness, quality, or value from historical directory copy or third-party material.

The practical limitation is the lack of a verified identity and contact channel. The legacy website resolves to an unrelated company, so it cannot be used to evaluate Essential Matters Productions or initiate a wedding booking.

• Confirmed strength: none currently documented by an official business source.
• Practical limitation: no verified official website, portfolio, email, phone number, or social account.
• Practical limitation: historical listing details may be outdated or belong to a former business setup.

Pricing

Current pricing is not explicitly published. No current first-party package guide, starting rate, tax information, travel fee policy, retainer terms, or add-on pricing was found for this business.

If a legitimate business representative is located, request a dated written quote that identifies the legal payee and specifies coverage hours, deliverables, revisions, delivery timing, travel, taxes, and cancellation or rescheduling terms.

• Current starting price: not confirmed.
• Current package inclusions: not confirmed.
• Deposits, taxes, travel fees, and payment terms: not confirmed.

Contact and booking

No official booking method can be published for Essential Matters Productions at this review stage. The historical website should not be treated as a contact route because it leads to Ricoh Canada rather than a wedding-videography business.

Do not send a deposit or personal event details based solely on this archived listing. A future update should provide a current business-controlled website or other verifiable contact method before the listing can be considered for active status.

• Official website: not confirmed.
• Official phone: not confirmed.
• Official email or enquiry form: not confirmed.

What couples should confirm

Before considering a booking, first confirm that the person responding represents Essential Matters Productions and is currently accepting wedding work. Ask for a current portfolio hosted or linked by the business, a written agreement, and a quote issued in the business’s name.

Once identity is established, clarify the parts of videography that affect the final film and the wedding-day schedule. These details are especially important where the old listing has no current evidence to support them.

• Business name, primary contact, and current Calgary service area.
• Wedding date availability and who will film the event.
• Coverage hours, locations, ceremony and speech audio, and coordination with the photographer.
• Final deliverables, editing/revision process, delivery timeline, and raw-footage policy.
• Total price in Canadian dollars, taxes, travel costs, retainer, insurance where relevant, and cancellation terms.
