Desmond HARWOOD Photography

Last reviewed: August 26, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Desmond HARWOOD Photography is listed on CanadaWeddingGuide as a wedding photography business associated with Chateauguay, Quebec. Couples searching for a Chateauguay wedding photographer may find this page useful as an identification record, but current official business evidence was not available in the supplied research pack.

This profile is therefore marked review pending. The existing listing mentions wedding-related photography and photography styles, but those statements come from legacy, unverified content rather than a currently confirmed company website or official business social profile. Last reviewed: August 26, 2026.

Current verification status

The supplied evidence does not establish a current official website, official social profile, operating status, contact method or matching business identity. Because the required first-party identity checks could not be completed, this page should not present the legacy listing as a confirmed current business profile.

The company record supplies the name Desmond HARWOOD Photography and associates it with Chateauguay, Quebec. Those details are retained as directory context only. They should be rechecked before couples rely on them for an enquiry or booking.

• Status: review pending.
• No verified official website was supplied.
• No verified phone number or postal address was supplied.

Services and specialization

Legacy content describes photography in contemporary, portrait and traditional styles and refers to wedding photography. It also mentions custom graphics and possible digital, print and album formats. None of these service details has been confirmed through a current first-party source, so they should be treated as claims requiring verification rather than as active offerings.

There is not enough current evidence to describe a particular wedding approach, image style, deliverable list, editing process, second-photographer arrangement or album specification.

• Wedding photography is present in the existing listing context.
• Portrait and other photography references appear only in unverified legacy content.
• Current packages and deliverables remain unconfirmed.

Service area and who it may suit

The legacy company record uses Chateauguay, Quebec as its location. No current service-area statement was supplied, so coverage of Montreal, nearby municipalities or other Quebec destinations should not be assumed.

On the available evidence, the listing may be relevant to couples researching a photographer connected with Chateauguay. Couples should first confirm the business identity, current location and whether the photographer accepts wedding assignments in their venue area.

• Chateauguay is an unverified legacy location, not a confirmed current postal address.
• Travel range and destination coverage are not published in the supplied evidence.
• Venue familiarity and date availability need direct confirmation.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

There are no independently confirmed strengths in the supplied first-party evidence. The legacy description refers to attention to detail, storytelling and image quality, but those are unverified promotional statements and are not presented here as established findings.

The main practical limitation is the lack of current official information. Without a confirmed portfolio, service description, contract terms or contact channel, couples cannot yet assess visual fit, inclusions, turnaround expectations or booking reliability from this page alone.

• No current first-party portfolio was supplied.
• No current reviews, awards, capacity or availability evidence was supplied.
• The listing should be updated after an official identity and service check.

Pricing

Prices are not published. No current first-party package, starting price, hourly rate, deposit, tax treatment or payment schedule was included in the evidence pack.

Before comparing proposals, couples should request a written quotation that explains coverage hours, edited images, delivery method, printing or album options, travel charges, retainer terms and cancellation provisions.

• No verified pricing or package inclusions are available.
• Ask whether an engagement session, previews, albums or additional coverage cost extra.
• Confirm the payment schedule and contract terms in writing.

Contact and booking

No verified phone number, email address, booking form or official website was supplied. The legacy phone and website fields are blank, so this page cannot provide a confirmed route to contact the business.

Couples should not rely on an unverified listing alone when sending personal details or a deposit. A current official channel should identify the business consistently and provide a written agreement before a booking is considered.

• Current contact details are unavailable in the verified evidence.
• Do not infer availability from the existence of this directory page.
• Request a signed contract and receipt for any payment.

What couples should confirm

The first step is to confirm that the person or business responding is the same Desmond HARWOOD Photography named in this listing. Couples should then request a current portfolio of comparable weddings and ask specific questions about coverage, image delivery and contingency planning.

Because the evidence is incomplete, these checks are particularly important before choosing a date or paying a retainer. Any current website, official social profile, service-area statement or pricing page should be supplied for a future review of this profile.

• Confirm legal or trading name and current business location.
• Ask who will photograph the wedding and whether substitutes are used.
• Confirm coverage hours, image format, editing, delivery timeline and backup procedures.
• Ask about travel fees, liability insurance and cancellation or postponement terms.
• Verify the payment schedule and obtain a signed contract.
