Dan Kennedy Photography

Last reviewed: August 13, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Dan Kennedy Photography Porters Lake is an existing Canada Wedding Guide record currently awaiting identity verification. As of August 13, 2026, research did not establish a current official website or another first-party source that clearly connects this business name to present-day wedding-photography services.

The historical listing identifies the business with Porters Lake, Nova Scotia and wedding photography, but those details are not sufficient to confirm current operations, ownership, contact information or availability. The listed Facebook URL could not be independently verified as an active official business source during this review.

Verification status

This profile is marked review_pending, not closed. A business should only receive an active status when an official source matches the distinctive business name and provides relevant, current service context. That threshold was not met here.

Search results returned third-party directory records using the historical name, address and telephone number. Those records are not first-party evidence and are therefore not used to confirm the business identity, location, contact details or ability to accept bookings.

Services and specialization

The existing CWG classification places Dan Kennedy Photography in wedding photography. No current official page was found to document specific coverage types, photographic style, engagement sessions, albums, digital delivery, editing, additional photographers or other offerings.

Couples should not rely on historical descriptive copy to infer a current package or specialization. Ask the business directly for a recent portfolio and a written description of the photography services proposed for the wedding.

Service area and who it may suit

Porters Lake, Nova Scotia is the locality associated with the legacy record. There is no confirmed first-party statement of a current base, travel area, destination-wedding policy or travel fee.

If a current representative confirms that the business serves the area, this listing may be relevant to couples seeking wedding photography around Porters Lake. Confirm whether the photographer is available for the ceremony and reception locations before treating that association as a service-area commitment.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

No company-specific strengths can be confirmed without a current official source. The practical benefit of retaining the record is that it preserves the historical business-name query while verification continues.

The principal limitation is missing first-party evidence. There is no verified official website, email address, active booking form, portfolio, published service description or confirmed location available for this profile on the review date.

Pricing

Current pricing is not explicitly published. No verified first-party rate sheet, package page, starting price or fee information was located.

Request a dated written quote that states coverage hours, deliverables, travel costs, applicable taxes, payment schedule, overtime, rescheduling and cancellation terms. Compare like-for-like scopes rather than assuming that a historic listing reflects present pricing.

Contact and booking

Canada Wedding Guide has not published a telephone number, postal address or official website for this review because none was confirmed from a first-party source. The historical Facebook link is recorded below only as an attempted legacy contact route, not as a verified official account.

Do not send a deposit based solely on an older directory entry. Before booking, confirm the legal or trading name of the business, who will photograph the event, the preferred contact channel and whether the quoted date is available.

What couples should confirm

Ask for a current portfolio containing recent wedding work and clarify the intended approach to ceremony coverage, family photographs, reception coverage and image delivery. Confirm the number of photographers, backup equipment and the timeline for receiving images.

Obtain a contract identifying the provider, total price, taxes, payment recipient, retainer terms, cancellation and postponement rules, usage rights, insurance where relevant, and a contingency plan if the assigned photographer cannot attend.
