Crooked Sword Comedy

Last reviewed: August 12, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Crooked Sword Comedy is currently under review because Canada Wedding Guide could not establish a current official business identity for this listing. The website supplied with the legacy record leads to Dark Horse Comics, an unrelated publisher, rather than a wedding entertainment provider.

The existing listing describes comedy entertainment for weddings, but that legacy copy is not evidence of present-day services, location, contact details or availability. Until a matching official source is located, couples should treat the entry as unverified.

Review status and identity check

Status: review_pending. Exact-name searches did not establish a current official website or owned business page for Crooked Sword Comedy that also confirms wedding-related services.

The supplied domain, darkhorse.com, identifies itself as Dark Horse Comics. Its published content concerns comics, books, licensing and custom publishing; it does not identify Crooked Sword Comedy or offer wedding entertainment. It cannot be used as this company’s official website.

• Official website: not confirmed.
• Current operating status: not confirmed.

Services and specialization

No current first-party source was found that documents Crooked Sword Comedy’s services or specialization. References in the previous listing to live stand-up comedy, wedding performances, tailored material and MC alternatives are unverified legacy claims, so they are not presented as current services.

Couples considering comedy entertainment should ask any prospective provider what performance format is available, how material is adapted for a mixed-age audience and whether hosting or MC duties are included.

• Confirmed wedding services: none documented.
• Confirmed performer roster: none documented.
• Confirmed event format or customization options: none documented.

Service area and who it may suit

A service area cannot be confirmed. The legacy record associates the page with Kitchener, Ontario, but its supplied address uses a Mississauga postal-code format. Neither point was confirmed from an official business source, so no geography should be used for planning or local-search targeting.

If a verified provider emerges, comedy entertainment may suit couples seeking a performance element during a reception or another wedding gathering. Suitability, travel coverage and event timing must be confirmed directly.

• Confirmed base city: not available.
• Confirmed travel area: not available.
• Confirmed wedding-event suitability: not available.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

There are no confirmed business-specific strengths to report because no matching first-party source documents the company’s current work, experience or wedding offering.

The practical limitation is verification. This listing has no confirmed official contact channel, service area, pricing information or evidence of current operations. Couples should not rely on the legacy website, address or phone number when making booking decisions.

• Strengths: no current official evidence available.
• Limitation: identity mismatch on the supplied website.
• Limitation: contact and location details require independent confirmation.

Pricing

Current pricing is not explicitly published. No verified official page was found with packages, rates, deposits, minimums, travel fees or payment terms for Crooked Sword Comedy.

If contact is established, request a written quote that states performance duration, any hosting duties, travel charges, sound requirements, overtime terms, deposit and cancellation conditions.

• Published rates: not found.
• Published package details: not found.
• Published booking terms: not found.

Contact and booking

No official website, clean postal address or verified phone number can be published for this profile. The contact details in the legacy record are not carried forward because they were not confirmed by a current official source.

Before booking, ask for a current business website or written proposal that clearly identifies the performer or company, confirms the wedding date and explains the scope of service.

• Official contact route: not confirmed.
• Official address: not confirmed.
• Booking availability: not confirmed.

What couples should confirm

Anyone who believes this listing refers to an active provider should verify the business identity before sharing a deposit or event details. Ask for direct confirmation of the company name, the appropriate contact person and the date-specific booking process.

Once a current official source is available, Canada Wedding Guide can reassess the listing and add only details documented by that business.

• Whether Crooked Sword Comedy is currently operating under this name.
• The correct website, phone number and service location.
• Wedding-specific service format, performance length and audience guidelines.
• Pricing, contract, deposit, cancellation and travel terms.
• Sound equipment, venue requirements and event-day schedule.
