Chartreuse Designs/ SoulEssence

Last reviewed: August 1, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Couples searching for Chartreuse Designs SoulEssence Calgary may find a current Calgary business branded “Soulessence.” Its website documents cremation jewellery, lampworked glass and a wedding collection, making it a plausible match for this older Canada Wedding Guide record.

The connection is not strong enough to publish as confirmed. The current site matches only the SoulEssence portion of the listing name and does not mention Chartreuse Designs. Because the legacy address and description are not proof, the website, address and telephone fields remain unpublished pending first-party confirmation. Last reviewed: August 1, 2026.

Identity status and evidence gap

The likely match is Soulessence at soulessence.ca. Its current website identifies the brand as Soulessence, places the studio in Calgary and describes lampworked cremation-glass jewellery, including wedding-specific products. Those details are consistent with parts of the historical record but do not independently establish that Chartreuse Designs and Soulessence are the same company.

Active publication requires a confirmed official source matching at least two distinctive record-name tokens. No current first-party page found in this review uses “Chartreuse Designs,” so the record remains under review rather than being marked active.

Services and specialization

The candidate Soulessence site says cremation ashes are encased in molten glass and formed into handmade keepsakes. Its wedding collection currently includes bouquet ash pins, a boutonnière pin and cuff links. The broader collection includes pendants, rings, earrings, beads and bracelets.

These services should not yet be attributed definitively to Chartreuse Designs. In particular, the historical claim that the company supplied general bridal accessories or wedding favours has not been confirmed by a current official source.

Service area and who it may suit

The candidate website states that Soulessence is based in Calgary and ships throughout Canada and the United States. It describes arranged Calgary drop-offs for ashes and mail-in arrangements for customers outside the city.

If the identity is confirmed, the wedding collection may be relevant to couples seeking a memorial item for a bouquet, boutonnière or cuff. Couples wanting conventional guest favours should first ask whether that service is still offered, since it does not appear in the current candidate site’s documented range.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

Documented features on the candidate site include lampworking, custom colour choices and transparent or opaque glass options. Its about page also explains that handmade beads can differ slightly in shape, size and accent colour.

The principal limitation is identity verification: the current domain does not connect itself to Chartreuse Designs. The studio is also described as appointment-only, so couples should not assume walk-in access. Currency, production timing for a wedding date and shipping charges should be confirmed directly before ordering.

Pricing

Current pricing is explicitly published on the candidate Soulessence wedding-collection page. It lists a bouquet ash Decora pin at $65, bouquet ash pins at $50 or $60, a cremation-ash boutonnière pin at $25 and cuff ash links at $175.

The page uses dollar signs but does not clearly state the currency beside these items. These figures therefore cannot yet be presented as verified Chartreuse Designs/SoulEssence prices. Couples should confirm the business identity, currency, taxes, shipping and final customization cost.

Contact and booking

The candidate contact page provides a Calgary studio location, telephone number, email address and contact form, while its about page describes website, telephone and Facebook Messenger ordering. Because the first-party identity link is incomplete, those details have not been copied into this profile’s official contact fields.

Before sending ashes, payment or personal information, couples should ask the candidate business to confirm in writing that it is the successor to, or same operation as, Chartreuse Designs/SoulEssence.

What couples should confirm

A short written confirmation would resolve the main uncertainty and help establish whether the older CWG listing can be updated safely.

Couples should also verify all practical details for their particular order.

• Whether Soulessence is the current name of Chartreuse Designs/SoulEssence
• Whether the selected wedding item is available for the required date
• How much ash is needed and how it should be delivered
• The quoted currency, taxes, shipping cost and return method
• Expected production time and whether expedited service is available

Frequently asked questions

Is Chartreuse Designs/SoulEssence currently confirmed as active?

No. A current Soulessence website was found, but it does not mention Chartreuse Designs. The CWG record remains review pending; it has not been marked closed.

Does the possible Soulessence match offer wedding-specific items?

Yes. The candidate website publishes a wedding collection with bouquet ash pins, a cremation-ash boutonnière pin and cuff links. The unresolved identity means these products cannot yet be attributed definitively to this record.

How much ash does the candidate business say it needs?

Its FAQ says one-half teaspoon is sufficient and that unused ashes are returned. Couples should obtain current handling and delivery instructions directly before sending anything.

Can couples outside Calgary use the candidate service?

The candidate site says it ships across Canada and the United States and can arrange for out-of-town customers to mail a small portion of ashes. Shipping cost and timing should be confirmed for each order.
