Carlie Borris Photography

Last reviewed: August 10, 2026. Business status: Active.

Carlie Borris Photography is a Warburg Alberta wedding photographer with an official portfolio site that identifies Carlie as focusing on weddings and large-event photography. The same site places her on a farm northwest of Warburg, Alberta, and presents wedding and engagement work in its portfolio navigation.

The business is listed in the Canada Wedding Guide wedding-photography category. This profile reflects information available from the confirmed official website as reviewed on August 10, 2026. It does not treat older directory copy as evidence of current packages, inclusions, travel terms, or availability.

Services and specialization

Carlie Borris Photography’s official homepage says that Carlie focuses on weddings and large-event photography. Wedding is a distinct portfolio category on the site, and engagement is another dedicated portfolio category. Those pages support wedding and engagement photography as the clearest documented services for couples considering this listing.

The homepage also mentions rodeo photography and says that a limited number of lifestyle sessions may be fitted into the schedule. Those are part of the photographer’s broader practice, but they should not be read as wedding-package inclusions. The accessible official pages do not confirm such details as hours of coverage, a second photographer, albums, image counts, editing scope, or delivery timing.

• Documented wedding focus
• Documented large-event photography focus
• Dedicated wedding and engagement portfolio categories

Service area and who it may suit

The official site says Carlie lives on a farm just northwest of Warburg, Alberta. That is the most specific current location statement found on an official page. It supports a Warburg-area description, but it does not publish a postal client address, studio address, or defined service radius.

This may suit couples planning a wedding near Warburg who want to review a photographer’s wedding and engagement portfolio before making contact. It may also be relevant for couples with a large event, since that service is named on the official homepage. Couples outside the immediate area should ask whether travel is offered, which locations can be covered, and whether travel or accommodation costs apply.

• Warburg-area location is supported by the official homepage
• No defined coverage radius was found
• No postal business address was published on accessible official pages

Portfolio and working context

The official website presents Carlie as a photographer with more than 11 years in business. Its portfolio navigation separates wedding and engagement work, allowing couples to view examples in those categories rather than relying on a general statement alone.

The homepage also identifies Canadian professional rodeo photography as part of the business. That is a documented part of the photographer’s work, but it is not evidence of a particular wedding style, package, or deliverable. Couples should evaluate the wedding portfolio directly and discuss the visual approach they want for their own day.

• Official site states more than 11 years in photography business
• Wedding and engagement work are separately presented
• Rodeo photography is documented as additional professional work

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

A confirmed strength is the availability of an official, branded portfolio that names weddings as a focus and includes separate wedding and engagement sections. The site also gives a clear local reference point northwest of Warburg, which is more useful than relying on the legacy Buck Creek listing alone.

Important practical limitations remain. No official postal address, telephone number, email address, service radius, wedding coverage length, team size, delivery schedule, insurance details, or current date availability was confirmed from the accessible official content. These are items to settle directly before paying a retainer.

• Strength: official wedding and engagement portfolio sections
• Strength: locally specific Warburg-area reference
• Limitation: key booking terms and contact details require direct confirmation

Pricing

Current pricing is not explicitly published. The official site includes an Investment link in its navigation, but accessible official-page content did not provide a current wedding rate, package total, deposit requirement, tax treatment, travel charge, or list of inclusions.

Ask for a written estimate tailored to the wedding date, venue locations, coverage duration, engagement session request, and any travel involved. Before booking, confirm what is included in the quoted amount and whether taxes or additional expenses are separate.

Current prices are not published on the official pages reviewed.

• No current wedding price was confirmed
• No package inclusions were confirmed
• Request a written quote and agreement

Contact and booking

Use the Contact route on the confirmed official website to introduce the wedding and request current information. The site is the appropriate first-party route because it carries the Carlie Borris Photography name and links to the portfolio and investment information.

No phone number or email address is confirmed in this profile. An active portfolio and contact route do not confirm that a particular date remains available, so couples should ask whether the date is open before making arrangements around this vendor.

• Contact page is linked from the official navigation
• Availability must be confirmed directly

What couples should confirm

Before booking, ask Carlie Borris Photography to confirm the legal name on the agreement, wedding date availability, the exact venue or venues that can be covered, and whether travel is available. Discuss the requested coverage period, number of photographers, image delivery method and timeline, retainer, balance schedule, taxes, cancellation or postponement terms, and any permissions required by the venue.

For a wedding that includes an engagement session, ask whether it is offered for the requested date and location, whether it is separate from wedding coverage, and what is delivered. Reviewing the relevant portfolio and agreeing on priorities such as family groupings, ceremony restrictions, and reception coverage will make the scope clearer.

• Date and service-area availability
• Written package scope and deliverables
• Fees, taxes, travel and payment schedule
• Cancellation, postponement and venue requirements

Profile review note

Last reviewed: August 10, 2026. Active status is based on a confirmed official Carlie Borris Photography website that uses the full business name, presents current copyright information, offers a contact route, and explicitly identifies weddings as a focus.

This listing deliberately leaves the address and phone fields blank because no clean official postal address or phone number was found. The legacy Buck Creek address was not used as proof of the current business location or contact details.

• Official identity confirmed through the business’s own website
• Legacy listing details were not used as current contact evidence
