Ali Janssen Photography

Last reviewed: August 14, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Ali Janssen Photography is listed as a Kawartha Lakes wedding photographer on Canada Wedding Guide, but its present-day business identity cannot yet be confirmed from the available first-party evidence.

The legacy record connects this listing to imagesbyvandam.com and phone number 705-741-9566. That website is active, but identifies Images by van Dam Photography and photographer Mark van Dam rather than Ali Janssen Photography. To avoid directing couples to a potentially unrelated provider, this profile is pending review as of 2026-08-14.

Current verification status

This listing is marked review_pending, not inactive or closed. The available website is a functioning wedding-photography site, but its current identity conflicts with the company name on this Canada Wedding Guide page.

The supplied legacy website presents Images by van Dam Photography and identifies Mark van Dam as the photographer. Because the names do not share enough distinctive identity evidence, that site cannot be treated as Ali Janssen Photography’s confirmed official website.

Services and specialization

The legacy listing describes wedding photography and mentions engagement sessions, additional coverage time, high-resolution image delivery, multiple locations and a trash-the-dress session. These details are historical context only; they have not been confirmed on a current official source for Ali Janssen Photography.

No current first-party page verified for this exact business name was available during this review. Couples should therefore not rely on the legacy service list when making a booking decision.

Service area and who it may suit

The existing listing is categorised under Kawartha Lakes, and its legacy copy also refers to the Kawarthas and Peterborough. Those areas remain unverified for the currently named company.

Until identity is resolved, this listing may be useful only as a lead for couples seeking a Kawartha Lakes wedding photographer; it is not a confirmed statement of travel coverage, home base or availability.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

A current photography website associated with the legacy phone number shows wedding-photography content, but it is for a differently named business. That establishes a possible historical connection, not a confirmed match.

The practical limitation is identity: the available evidence does not establish whether Ali Janssen Photography rebranded, transferred its phone number or is otherwise connected to Images by van Dam Photography. No confirmed current business address is available for this listing.

Pricing

Current pricing for Ali Janssen Photography is not explicitly published.

The associated legacy website publishes wedding pricing for Images by van Dam Photography, but those prices must not be attributed to Ali Janssen Photography while the identity conflict remains unresolved. Ask the business directly for an itemised quote, tax treatment, coverage hours, travel fees, deliverables and payment schedule.

Contact and booking

Do not rely on the legacy website, address or phone number as verified contact information for Ali Janssen Photography. The legacy phone number appears on a differently named photography website, which is insufficient to confirm ownership of this listing.

Before booking, request a current official website or direct written confirmation that identifies the business name, photographer, booking contact and the specific wedding date being discussed.

What couples should confirm

A short verification conversation can resolve the key uncertainty and make later comparisons more meaningful.

Confirm the exact legal or trading name, the photographer who will attend, service area, date availability, package inclusions, image-delivery timeline, editing scope, backup arrangements, contract terms, insurance if required by the venue, and cancellation or rescheduling policies.

• Whether Ali Janssen Photography is the current name of the business associated with the legacy phone number
• A current postal address or whether the business works by appointment only
• Whether engagement, elopement or post-wedding sessions are still offered
• The total cost, including HST, travel and any add-ons
