Laura Jane Photography

Last reviewed: August 8, 2026. Availability unconfirmed. Review pending.

Laura Jane Photography Toronto is a photography business whose current official website identifies Laura Jane as a Toronto-based fine art photographer. The site presently emphasizes carefully considered photography for entrepreneurs, artists and families, while its About page specifically mentions branding shoots.

This Canada Wedding Guide profile remains under review because the current official website does not clearly confirm that wedding photography is still offered. The business name, Toronto location and phone number are supported by the official site, but historical wedding claims cannot be carried forward without current first-party evidence. Services and specialization

The official About page describes Laura Jane as a fine art photographer who occasionally photographs entrepreneurs, artists and families. Branding shoots are the only named session type, and the page says these shoots are designed to capture the essence of the sitter.

The current site does not provide a wedding-services page or confirm engagement sessions, full-day coverage, second photographers, albums, digital-file delivery or destination work. Those services appeared in the legacy listing but remain unverified and should not be presented as current offerings.

Service area and who it may suit

The official website places Laura Jane Photography in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. No wider travel area or specific neighbourhood coverage is published.

Based strictly on the current description, the work may be relevant to Toronto entrepreneurs, artists and families seeking considered photography, or to people researching Laura Jane’s fine-art approach. Couples interested in that visual perspective can enquire, but should first establish whether wedding commissions are currently accepted.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

A confirmed feature is the clear fine-art positioning: the About page identifies Laura Jane as a fine art photographer and names branding shoots as a service. The official site also provides an image-led portfolio, a Toronto location, a phone number and an email contact.

The practical limitation is evidence rather than a judgment about quality. The website does not currently document wedding availability, wedding coverage, deliverables, turnaround times, booking terms or client capacity. Canada Wedding Guide therefore cannot verify the wedding-specific claims in the older record.

Pricing

Current wedding pricing is not explicitly published. The official pages reviewed also do not show current rates for branding, family or artist sessions.

Couples should request a written quotation only after confirming that wedding photography is available. The quotation should identify coverage hours, taxes, travel, additional photographers, image delivery, editing, albums or prints, overtime and payment milestones.

Contact and booking

The official website publishes the phone number 416-877-4530 and the email address lj@laurajanepetelko.com. No postal address is displayed on the official pages reviewed, so the legacy Annex address has not been retained.

An initial enquiry should include the event date, venue or municipality, expected coverage period and the type of photography required. Because the present site is not wedding-specific, ask directly whether Laura Jane Photography is accepting weddings and request a current wedding portfolio and agreement before paying a retainer.

What couples should confirm

Before treating this as a wedding-photography option, obtain current first-party confirmation of the following items:

Written answers are particularly important here because the present official site focuses on other photography subjects and does not publish wedding terms.

• Whether wedding and engagement commissions are currently accepted
• Availability for the date and every required location
• Coverage hours and whether a second photographer can be provided
• The number, resolution and delivery method of finished photographs
• Editing approach, delivery timeline and print or album options
• Total price, HST, travel charges, retainer, cancellation and rescheduling terms
• Portfolio examples from recent weddings and the identity of the photographer attending

Evidence status

The current domain matches the distinctive business name “Laura Jane Photography,” identifies Toronto and repeats the phone number associated with the record. This supports the present brand identity and contact details.

However, the official homepage and About page describe fine-art, branding, entrepreneur, artist and family photography rather than weddings. Until an official wedding page, current service document or direct business confirmation is available, the listing should remain review pending rather than being represented as an active wedding vendor.
