Dreamland Silent Disco is a Salt Spring Island-based event company offering full-service private and public events anywhere in BC, plus Canada-wide silent-disco gear rentals. For couples searching “silent disco wedding British Columbia,” its official site specifically includes weddings and after-parties among the event types it serves.

The business uses wireless, three-channel LED headsets that let listeners select a station and set their own volume. Dreamland Silent Disco also states that it can provide up to three live DJs or up to three stations of pre-mixed music, making the service relevant to a reception, late-night dance floor or wedding after-party where a headphone-based format fits the venue plan.

Services and specialization

Dreamland Silent Disco’s official Private Events page lists weddings, after-parties and headphone rentals, alongside other private-event formats. Its core format is a headphone dance party: audio is sent by radio signal to wireless LED headsets rather than played only through conventional speakers. The company says guests can choose among one to three music stations and control their own headset volume.

For a full-service event, the company says it can provide lighting packages, up to three DJs performing live, up to three stations of pre-mixed music and outdoor movie screens. It also offers equipment rentals. The official storefront separately lists headsets, transmitters, wireless headset microphones and off-grid party kits for purchase or rental.

The current official information does not describe MC service, music consultation, a do-not-play process, insurance or a conventional wedding-DJ package. Couples who need any of those items should ask whether they are available for their specific booking rather than relying on older directory descriptions.

Wedding and after-party entertainment is explicitly listed.
Full-service entertainment and equipment rental are both described.
The headset system supports up to three audio stations.
Lighting, live DJs, pre-mixed music stations and outdoor movie screens are listed as possible event elements.

Service area and who it may suit

Dreamland Silent Disco identifies itself as based on Salt Spring Island, BC. Its official About Us page says it provides silent-disco gear rentals Canada-wide and full-service private and public events anywhere in BC. This supports a British Columbia focus for staffed events, while rental customers elsewhere in Canada should confirm shipping, timing and any support arrangements before ordering.

The format may suit couples who want a late-night dance option, a reception in a venue with sound restrictions or an off-grid celebration. Dreamland says its equipment can be used in off-grid locations and at venues with noise ordinances. That is a documented feature, not a guarantee of venue approval; every couple should still confirm site rules and event logistics directly with both the venue and supplier.

Full-service events: anywhere in BC, according to the official About Us page.
Gear rentals: Canada-wide, according to the official About Us page.
Base: Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.
Practical fit to confirm: venue sound rules, delivery or travel needs, power and outdoor-weather arrangements.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

A confirmed feature is the three-channel headphone format. Dreamland says listeners can select a station, adjust their own volume and use headsets with a range of up to 500 metres without obstructions. Its listed battery-operated transmitters are intended for off-grid use and are described as lasting more than 10 hours on a full charge. These details can help couples frame a technical conversation with the provider.

The site also provides a direct contact form, an email contact and a telephone number, alongside current rental and product listings. This is useful evidence of an active booking and purchase route. The practical limitation is that the public site does not publish a wedding-specific package scope, guest-count recommendation, delivery cost or full-service event price. The listed range is also subject to obstruction and should be checked against the actual venue layout.

Confirmed feature: wireless headsets with one to three selectable stations.
Confirmed feature: adjustable listener volume.
Confirmed feature: battery-operated transmitter option for off-grid setups.
Limitation: wedding-specific package scope and staffing plan are not published.
Limitation: range is described as up to 500 metres without obstructions.

Pricing

Dreamland Silent Disco publishes some equipment pricing. Its headset-rental listing shows CAD 15 to CAD 600 and describes a kit with up to three transmitters per 24-hour period. The page states that delivery fees are not included and directs customers to request a delivery quote or a full-service package quote. The storefront also lists off-grid headphone party kits from CAD 1,127 to CAD 4,336, but these are product kits rather than a published wedding-event package.

Current pricing is not explicitly published for full-service weddings. The official Private Events page says equipment can be rented from CAD 5 per headset, while its current product listing shows separate rental options and quantities. Because the public pages do not explain the final scope for a particular wedding, couples should request a dated, itemized quote rather than treating a displayed equipment price as the event total.

The company’s published terms say rentals and purchases are subject to 12% tax, while full-service events are subject to 5% tax. Shipping is quoted separately, although the terms state that orders over $1,000 receive free shipping.

Contact and booking

Dreamland Silent Disco’s official website provides a contact form and identifies [email protected] for rental and event enquiries. The published phone number is 617-657-4465. No clean street address or postal address is shown on the official pages reviewed, so none is listed here.

When enquiring, provide the date, BC venue, approximate guest count, event timing and whether the request is for rental equipment or a staffed full-service event. Ask the provider to confirm the exact music-source arrangement, number of stations, headset and transmitter quantity, delivery or travel charges, set-up and teardown responsibility, taxes and payment terms in writing.

What couples should confirm

Confirm whether the booking is a self-managed rental or a full-service event. For rentals, ask what is included with the chosen headset quantity, whether chargers and transmitters are included, how the equipment is shipped or delivered, and who provides technical support. For a full-service wedding, confirm the number of DJs or pre-mixed stations, lighting or screen add-ons, schedule, arrival time and whether the plan changes for an outdoor site.

Also confirm venue-specific matters before signing. In particular, ask whether the proposed set-up meets the venue’s sound policy, how headset distribution and collection will work, what happens if a unit is damaged or lost, and what contingency applies if reception conditions affect the expected signal range. Request the final tax, travel or delivery, deposit and cancellation terms in a written agreement.
