Last reviewed August 10, 2026. For couples searching for a Regina wedding photographer, Details Photography Studio is the Regina-based studio of Carina Gartner Lamarche. The current official website confirms the studio name, its Regina identity and Carina’s role as photographer and creative lead. It also documents wedding-related professional accreditations and wedding-image recognition.

The present website is primarily organised around portrait work rather than a dedicated wedding-services page. That distinction matters: wedding formal and wedding environmental credentials are documented, but current wedding collections, date availability and coverage details are not published. Couples can use this listing as a verified starting point, then ask the studio directly whether it is accepting their wedding and what service would be proposed.

Profile status and verified identity

Details Photography Studio is active on its official website, which identifies Carina Gartner Lamarche as the photographer and creative heart behind the business. The site copyright also names Carina Gartner Lamarche and Details Photography Studio. This provides a clear current identity match for the existing Canada Wedding Guide record and replaces the unrelated legacy website and Toronto-area contact information.

The official site places the studio in Regina, Saskatchewan. It does not publish a complete postal street address on the pages reviewed, so no address is shown in this profile. The listed phone number and studio-domain email come from the current contact page, not from the legacy record.

Services and specialization

The current portfolio navigation highlights beauty, business headshots, family, children, high-school senior and sport portraits. The website describes Carina’s approach as centred on connection, direction and natural-looking images, and says sessions can take place in studio and at locations. These are confirmed current photography categories and process cues.

Wedding relevance is documented through Carina’s listed Professional Photographers of Canada accreditations in Wedding Formal and Wedding Environmental. The official biography also lists a 2023 PPOC Prairie Best in Class Wedding Portrait recognition, a 2023 PPOC Best in Class finalist entry for the same wedding portrait, and a 2007 PPOC-SK Best Wedding Album. These credentials support the wedding-photography classification, but the current site does not publish a wedding gallery, package menu or a complete list of wedding deliverables.

Service area and who it may suit

Details Photography Studio identifies itself with Regina, Saskatchewan. Its website refers to both studio sessions and locations, but it does not define a wedding travel radius, destination policy or specific Saskatchewan communities served. It would therefore be inaccurate to promise service outside Regina or to describe a confirmed travel area.

This listing may suit couples who want to ask a Regina photographer with documented formal and environmental wedding credentials about a locally planned celebration. It is especially sensible for couples who are comfortable confirming the current scope in writing before booking. Couples needing a confirmed second photographer, full-day coverage, videography, destination travel or a specific editing and delivery process should ask about those needs rather than assume they are included.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

A documented strength is Carina’s stated accreditation record: the official biography lists Wedding Formal and Wedding Environmental alongside several portrait accreditations. The same page identifies Master of Photographic Arts and Service of Photographic Arts designations and records dated professional recognitions. These are verifiable credentials, not a claim about present-day availability or an endorsement of a particular package.

The practical limitation is the gap between the wedding-related credentials and the current consumer-facing service pages. The site’s active navigation and enquiry form are portrait-focused, and the form’s visible session choices do not include a wedding option. The website also does not publish a street address, a wedding portfolio, a detailed wedding timeline, number of photographers, turnaround time for wedding images or a travel policy. Those items need direct confirmation.

Pricing

Current pricing is not explicitly published. The official site has an investment link in its navigation, but the current pages reviewed do not provide wedding package prices, hourly rates, minimum coverage, tax treatment, travel fees or optional add-on costs.

Do not rely on the historic price information attached to the old listing, because it belongs to a different website and cannot verify this studio’s current pricing. Ask for a written wedding quote that identifies coverage time, the photographer or photographers assigned, image delivery, products, taxes, travel and payment milestones.

Current prices are not published on the official pages reviewed.

Contact and booking

The official contact page lists 306-529-7785 and carina@detailsphotographystudio.com, and provides an online enquiry form. It identifies the contact as Carina Gartner Lamarche, MPA, SPA. The site says it will typically respond within 24 hours, though this is a stated response aim rather than a guaranteed booking timeline.

For portrait sessions, the site says that a consultation, retainer and contract are required to secure a date. That is useful evidence of the studio’s published portrait-session process, but couples should not assume the same terms apply to a wedding. Use the contact form, email or phone to ask whether wedding dates are currently being accepted and to request the applicable agreement.

What couples should confirm

Before treating Details Photography Studio as a booked wedding vendor, confirm that wedding coverage is currently offered for the date and venue. Ask which photographer will attend, whether an assistant or second shooter is available, the planned hours of coverage, whether engagement or formal portraits are included, and how travel is handled. These details are not published on the reviewed official pages.

Also request the current collection or custom quote, deposit and payment terms, cancellation or rescheduling provisions, expected delivery timing, number and format of finished images, gallery access, printing rights and any albums or wall art being quoted. A consultation is a sensible time to discuss photographic priorities, family combinations, indoor backup plans and the desired balance of formal and environmental images.
