Elora May Creative Studios is a Golden BC wedding photographer and videographer service led by Elora. The official site describes wedding and elopement coverage that combines photography and videography, with options that also include 35mm photography, Super8 films, content creation, and drone photo and video.

The business is based in Golden, British Columbia. Its published portfolio includes wedding work in Golden and elsewhere in Western Canada, while the site’s service information is most useful for couples considering a combined photo-and-film approach rather than photography-only coverage.

Verified business profile

Elora May Creative Studios has a confirmed official website at eloramaycreative.com. The homepage identifies Elora as a wedding photographer and videographer based in Golden, BC, and the site’s terms identify the business by the full Elora May Creative Studios name. This provides the name, location and relevant wedding-service context needed to verify this as the current business identity.

Last reviewed: August 10, 2026. No full public postal address was found on the official pages reviewed, so none is published here. The legacy PO box is not used because it was not confirmed by the official website.

Services and specialization

The official site presents customizable wedding and elopement photography and videography packages. Documented service formats include digital photography and videography, 35mm photography, Super8 films, content creation, and drone photo and video. The videography portfolio describes the work as emotional and cinematic, while the portfolio itself lets couples review examples before making an enquiry.

The business also states that it offers videography-only packages. It does not offer photography-only packages; the published explanation is that video remains part of its preferred offering. For a wedding day that includes both photography and video, the site says Elora may work with trusted associate cinematographers and photographers depending on the couple and event.

Service area and who it may suit

Golden, BC is the stated base. The homepage names Golden and surrounding areas including Emerald Lake, Lake Louise, Banff and Canmore. The official travel information says travel within a two-hour driving radius of Golden is complimentary; beyond that radius, transportation and a minimum of two nights’ accommodation are quoted when a couple enquires.

This may suit couples planning a Golden-area wedding or elopement who want both still images and film from one booking. It may also suit couples arranging a wedding outside the area, provided they are comfortable receiving a destination travel quote. The portfolio shows examples from Golden, Revelstoke, Banff, Calgary and other Canadian locations, but portfolio locations do not guarantee present-day availability in those areas.

Confirmed strengths and practical limitations

A documented operational feature is liability insurance: the official about page states that Elora May Creative Studios is insured for up to $5 million in liability coverage. The same page describes a small associate team for dates where both photography and video are covered. These are published business features, not quality ratings or third-party endorsements.

The practical limitation is that many booking variables remain quote-based. The official site does not publish a complete, standard inclusions list for every wedding or elopement scenario, and travel outside the local radius is quoted individually. Couples should therefore compare the written quote and contract with their preferred coverage, formats and venue requirements before booking.

Pricing

Current pricing is explicitly published on the official homepage: elopement packages start at $6,500 and wedding packages start at $8,500. These are starting prices, so they should not be read as a quote for every date, location or combination of services.

The packages page also lists a Super8 add-on at $900 plus GST. Destination bookings are described as having the same base pricing as local weddings, with additional accommodation, return-flight and ground-transportation costs. Couples seeking photography-only or videography-only pricing are directed to enquire, so those package prices are not explicitly published.

Contact and booking

The official terms page publishes info@eloramaycreative.com and 250-344-1385. The business also provides an online enquiry form through its official contact page. No physical office address is listed on the official pages reviewed.

The published process begins with an enquiry about the date and the couple’s plans. The packages page says that, after a discussion, a quote and contract are provided and the booking is completed with a paid booking fee. Availability is not published, so contact the business directly before making venue or travel commitments.

What couples should confirm

Ask for the current written quote for the wedding date, location and requested combination of photography, video, 35mm, Super8, content creation or drone coverage. Confirm whether an associate will be part of the team for a combined photo-and-video booking, and identify who will provide each deliverable.

For an event beyond the two-hour Golden radius, request the itemized travel estimate and confirm the accommodation requirement. It is also sensible to confirm coverage hours, the exact final photo and film deliverables, permissions for drone operation at the venue, the turnaround timetable, booking-fee terms, cancellation terms and whether the venue requires a certificate of insurance.
