Pollardi started in 2001 in La Bañeza, a Spanish town. Locally, the designers and tailors were renowned for the on-trend fashion and originality. Eastern European investors noticed the tiny shop and decided to see if the staff would be willing to expand on an international level. The financial aid and creativity has led to more than 300 trainees and esteemed designers. Pollardi is also the first one to apply the traditional technique of painting on batik fabric from India.
