Piper in the Burg is based in New Hamburg, ON. Andrew is a bagpiper with more than 20 years of piping experience. He has been a guest piper with bands from the U.S. and Scotland, and now hopes to provide you with memorable service and music. Andrew has been in competitive pipe bands within Ontario. He was one of the founding members of the Paris Port Dover Pipe Band (previously, the Paris Pipe Band). In the band’s second year in competition, Andrew was the leader of the band. The band became the 2005 North American Champions and the Ontario Champion Supreme Pipe Band in Grade 5. He reached the prestigious Grade 1 level in solo competition in Ontario as well. Now, he only performs solo, providing music for various events (including weddings).
