At Murphy’s on the Water, we make it easy and fun while planning your special day. We’ll help you create the wedding you always dreamed of – from the catering, bar service, entertainment, and all the little details in between, it will be our pleasure to help make your day, extra special.
​We have always offered very personalized weddings on our vessels and in our spacious, bright restaurant. Whether it be an elegant, seaside ceremony against the setting sun, a pirate-infused dinner and sail on board the Tall Ship Silva, or a ceremony and dinner in Murphy’s Restaurant & Patio, we would be thrilled to help create an experience that you and your guests will never forget.
We offer unique weddings on the water aboard the Tall Ship Silva (capacity of 150), the Harbour Queen (capacity of 194) and Kawatha Spirit (capacity of 190).
Couples may also choose to host their ceremony and reception at the bright and spacious Murphy’s Restaraunt & Patio. The restaurant has a capacity of 385 people and offers 180 degree views of the Halifax Harbour. The patio provides beautiful, natural lighting and can be covered and compleletely enclosed in the event of inclement weather.
Service: Murphy’s offers a variety of different touring experiences fit for a rehearsal dinner, bachelor/bachelorette party, second honeymoon, or for a family vacation. Tours include:
